Smoking for some it’s just routine, others a ‘hand to mouth’ habit, many use smoking to release stress - even though smoking increases stress and blood pressure, so they find themselves smoking more and chasing the stress release!

A lot of people believe they are addicted to Nicotine, often I discover it is quite the opposite, and they realise that actually they no longer like the taste, feeling, or even the smell, but for some reason just can’t break the habit!

For a short term Smoker I recommend One Session which lasts up to 90 minutes, for a Long Term Smoker I recommend Two Sessions as the habit is deeper, and there are more emotional and past connections

The First Session will be the main stop session and will last up to 90 minutes, and the second session will reinforce remaining smoke free and remove any further anxieties/emotional connections.

To find the most effective method to remove smoking habits, Frank Schmidt and research student Chockalingham Viswesvaran from the University of Iowa conducted a meta-analysis, utilising the results of more than 600 studies totalling nearly 72,000 people. The results, which were published in the Journal of Applied Psychology and included 48 studies of hypnosis covering 6000 smokers, clearly showed that hypnosis was three times more effective than Nicotine Replacement.
